Learning to code with micro:bit in Lebanon

The Social Survival Association is an Islamic women's & children’s association. Belief in the importance of their ability is at the heart of their work and they aim to make a positive impact on society and support women, families and young people:

We were very eager to introduce the micro:bit and block based coding to these group of kids, Having lacked technology education at their schools, these kids enjoyed this session a lot. They were eager to start coding the moment we started explaining it and at the end the results were amazing.

  • The Session was 3 hours long
  • 12 Kids participated
  • They enjoyed the session a lot and are eager to take the skills gained to an advanced level
